Port Forwarding for SFC OP
« on: October 05, 2006, 08:55:57 pm »
I cant host games on Gspy with the Yahoo Dsl 2wire router until I found this site...

http://www.portforward.com/comments.cgi

Looks promising and I have loaded the trial version but SFC OP not on the pick list of programs it can do.  Howeever, they offer to add it if I can answer these questions...

Enter Your Email:   (no problem)
Program's Hompage:  (uhhhhhh I dunno about this)
Program Name:  (np) SFC OP
TCP Ports  (?)
UDP Ports  (?)

I guess SFC OP doesnt have a home page anymore I would guess.  But maybe thats no crtical.  I would think the TCp and UDP ports are.  Anyone know them?

Be a kick if I could make this work.  I was told the 2wire was junk but it works just fine except for this.

6667
Ports for clients and hosting multiplayer(TCP&UDP):

2300~2400
6500
GameSpy Ports:

27900 (Master Server UDP Heartbeat)
28900 (Master Server List Request)

Hmmm, I'm on undfamiliar ground.  Should I just give them all these ports and let them sort it out?  Or would that be a mistake?  I'm primarily interested in Gamespy right now so ...
