How Would One Go About...

...changing weapons textures around?

Say you wanted to change the unfinished Tractor/Repulsor graphic with the Mauler graphic or whatever. What do you look for and where?

Is the Tractor Beam graphic (the one with the oscillating OOOOOO's) a changeable graphic or able to be placed onto other things?

Thanks for any help.

I think the tractor graphic is in the sprites file (soon, soon...). There's 601 occurences of the word tractor in the file.

Some of the other weapons textures can be directly modified: \Assets\Textures  - Chris Jones knows these files well.

Oh wait. you mean the TR beam, not the tractor sorry, let me take another look at those textures...  Might fx6.BMP be the TR texture?

I'm also interested with this... would be neat to have the SFC1 dizzy FX back.
