WIP - Soulwolf Class - Refit
« on: May 24, 2008, 09:23:44 pm »
Well I think i'll finally post this over here since i'm approaching the done w/ modeling part of this 2 year long project (yes two years... no i haven't been working on it that long... yes i do procrastinate lots).  Things left to finish at this point - 1 or 2 more phaser strips, bridge (i have the tower there...just no bridge yet), escape pods - modeled if possible, and other doo daads.  I'm done for the weekend so look for updates next weekend... hopefully i'll have some texture started then.  O and a mis-spelled soulwolf in my background stuff... go figure it took me 2 years to figure that out to ;)

Looks great, can it hold fighters? I'm also wondering, how many photon torpedo launchers does it have?

Great looking model Tus.  While I typically don't like Federation ship, the design of this one has always caught my eye.  You have done a great job of bring her to life and I look forward to seeing the finshed results.

Fedration ships are awesome, they're the most all-around ship of the entire SFC races. They can manuever quickly and they have heavy firepower. They're the best if you want alot of both.

Thanks for the comments.  To answer some questions this is a ship that Atolm designed a while back (2.5 years ago) that i've been working on.  It sorta my project where all my new skills and techniques go into... ie it contains the best that I have to offer.  Outside of a good deal of procrastination that is the other reason it has taken so long...  I wanted this to be my very best model ever made.

to answer Akira... she is a Heavy Cruiser... well at least i'm pretty sure she is.  She has two forward launcher and 1 rear, located on/in the neck structure.  She currently is packing 6 seperate phaser arrays, and I will probably be adding at least one more so i got enough converage on her.  As for specs... I rarely do that on any ship... i usually leave that for you all to decide when ever i release it.  I expect to have it done either in June or July.. but don't hold me to that.
