Problem with mapeditor

OK every time i use the sfc3 map editor the game hangs up when starting a camp, i'm using the standard multi, player map the conquest camps, use., just trying to give the cards' and rakelli some hexes.  i've tried saving using diff, file name still no luck. has anyone had this problem or know away to fix it.

i've read pelicans' guide even tried using his map, if i change just one thing on it and save or save as map will not work

You-Cheng was right I had 1 hex assigned to the pirates with a planet in it and no planets listed in the defaultloadout for pirates.. I've also found it is possible to manually edit the map files. You have to use the editor to save it as a text file first then edit that text file, by this I mean you can add races or just rearrange there order in that maps definitions section. the game can also read the text file no need to resave it as a bianary file with the editor. This can also be done with OP and EAW maps as well. Wink
