« on: September 03, 2008, 10:06:37 pm »
Im stuck I cant port any thing the sfc plugins fail to install on gmax startup. Ive put the plugins and that dll file in every folder that gmax  has and get the same result. Has any one here have these problems with gmax and the sfc plugins?

The plugins should be in the plugins folder. winmm.dll should be in your main gmax directory. What OS are you running. I'm running XP pro. It's the only OS I can test them in. They work there.

There might also be a need to have .net framework installed. They were compiled in 2005.net. Maybe one of the Microsoft gurus on the forums would know if and what .net framework might be needed. I have everything from 1.0 through 3.5 installed on my computer so I can't be certain if any one of those are needed.

.Net framework is NOT required by gmax sfc plugins.

I had the dll file in the wrong folder. :screwloose:
The sfc plugins have to be in the plugins folder and the winmm.dll has to be in the main gmax folder.

The person who compiled the plugins doesn't believe that they'll work on Win '98. The only way to know for sure is to have someone else with win98 try it.
