The Monty Python Operating System
« on: October 05, 2008, 08:35:31 am »

Steve Ballmer Bring out yer dead.
[a man puts a body on the cart]
Windows Vista Here's one.
Steve Ballmer That'll be ninepence.
Windows XP I'm not dead.
Steve Ballmer What?
Windows Vista Nothing. There's your ninepence.
Windows XP I'm not dead.
Steve Ballmer 'Ere, he says he's not dead.
Windows Vista Yes he is.
Windows XP I'm not.
Steve Ballmer He isn't.
Windows Vista Well, he will be soon, he's very ill.
Windows XP I'm getting better.
Windows Vista No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment.
Steve Ballmer Well, I can't take him like that. It's against regulations.
Windows XP I don't want to go on the cart.
Windows Vista Oh, don't be such a baby.
Steve Ballmer I can't take him.
Windows XP I feel fine.
Windows Vista Oh, do me a favor.
Steve Ballmer I can't.
Windows Vista Well, can you hang around for a couple of minutes? He won't be long.
Steve Ballmer I promised I'd be at the Robinsons'. They've lost nine today.
Windows Vista Well, when's your next round?
Steve Ballmer Thursday.
Windows XP I think I'll go for a walk.
Windows Vista You're not fooling anyone, you know. Isn't there anything you could do?
Windows XP I feel happy. I feel happy.

Thats right Windows XP has had yet another extension on its life from January 1st to July 31st 2009.

Microsoft changing it's stance on the XP life cycle.  Wonder if this means they'll release an SP4.

Na. too much to wish for.

They have already extended the life repeatedly.  At the rate they are going XP will still be available when Vista II is on the market.

Market demand is having some affect on Microsot finally.
