Title: Dynaverse, can't connect

I just tried to connect to SFC2 (both EAW and OP) dynaverses. but got a fire-wall message for both.

But I can connect to SFC3's just fine. (which uses the same ports, so it shouldn't be my internet setup)

Is the cdkey server down?

The only worthwhile piece is this is the first time (that I remember) I am trying to connect to SFC2's dynas after installing DirectX 9. Anyone else using Dx9 and SFC2?

The directory servers must still be down, from the Virus worm or whatever.

Yes they have been down since last night. That is the first time i noticed it.

I tried to connect to the D2 for the first time ever today (just played single player until i got a new machine) and I got that message. I was intrigued by the heated D2 vs D3 debate about  in the  "looking for a better game?" thread and I wanted to check out the D2 and I got a firewall message. I got the 2036 patch and am using direct x 9 as well. is there anything else i need?

its not you or your machine  the directory servers are down i think.

Don't be disappointed when you log on and don't see a big campaign happening. The last big one finished three weeks ago and we might not see another big campaign for another one or two weeks. That said, you should still get an idea of the way the D2 functions.

(After playing on AOTK for about a month non-stop I am certainly glad of the break, and looking to have a go at post-patch D3 too, before getting stuck in again.)

What exactly is going on here?  

The old forums at 208.57.228.3 are up.
I can ping sfc2.west.won.net and
sfc2.central.won.net (208.57.228.3)
but I cannot login to the D2.

Why isn't the WON directory server
running? When will it be up?
