Title: Okay, I'm going offline for three days while I move..

That's what I've been concentrating on for the last couple of weeks primarily in addition to work.  Well, move day is today.. so I'll talk to you guys in a few days..

Okay, still offline, although the move is done.. cable guy won't be by to hook up our Internet until Wednesday.. which will give me more time to work on stuff I guess.

I envy you Alec...I haven't moved and still can't get cable here yet...or so they say. I think it's a conspiracy to get us willing to pay more.

Is the Remora one you're working on in the mean time? (hint hint  ) Sorry, I know you have an overflow of prejects...just wanted to bring it up as I still get asked about it, lol.

The Remora is actually one of the ones that I'm working on.. plus Starbug 1, my personal flagship (I really wanted to get some of the prettifying changes done on it before it really started to bug me), Azel's Gorn, and a few more.  The Babylon 5 station of Trekke's is finished and ingame on my system at the large number of polies, and I got my SFC2 Demo and SFC 2:EAW games sorted out so that all the Trek stuff is in the demo, and all the B5 stuff is in EAW.  More room, and simply the way that I liked it.  

But the Remora's textures are about 75% complete.. however.. guess what?  The .MOD file was corrupted (if you can believe that).  I'm going to go by a friend's place locally.. I think he has Max 4 as well, and if I install the Taldren plugins, maybe I can export the Remora from the .Max file to a .MOD and get 'er running.  That's the hope anyways..

I can believe it...been having that crap happen way too much. MAX 4 won't help you...I use MAX 5 now and 4 won't open 5 files. Let me try to get it into 4 (still have that on my hd) and send you a 4 .max file. I'll also send a .3ds just in case. This really bites. I'll try sending a new .mod file also...maybe a new one will work. You have WIN Rar right? I'll try sending them that way also. Plus I think the files are small enough that I can send 'em un-compressed. I'll get you a good one, dammit.

Got the files, will check now (for what else I've been doing, check the new image intensive thread).  

Btw, you can convert stuff easily between 5 and 4 by exporting the file from either version as a .MOD... try it out.
