I'm sick and tired of waiting for this game to be fixed... There are far too many bombers and sphere primes ruining vanilla dynaverse for me to tollerate it much longer. So I was thinking if trying out one of the mods. The New Worlds and Neutral Zone mods sound rather rich in new content. I've heard people mention Dominion wars a lot too.
Which of these is fairly active each night in dynaverse play? By active, I mean consistently > 10-20 players at once?
Also, I need to know where to download the latest mod files. SFC3.net has a very incomplete downloads section.
Finally, when you install one of these mods, how much trouble is it to get back onto a standard dynaverse server?
Thanks,
scott

i know tnz makes you rename the assets folder, that way you can switch between the two.. you might want to just duplicate the sfc3 folder and use one for vanilla servers and one for each mod.. try both! i would recommend tnz, personally.

TNZ is the #1 rated server on D3 by gross population figures. At about half the audience, DW seems to come in at #2.
Those are your best bets if you want a populated server.

Er.. you don;t actually HAVE to copy your assets, its just easier if you want to change things later.
TNZ had issues because no one could ever get on the 30 person server because it was ALWAYS full. We pulled together and bought an 80-person server. I've never heard of that other mod...
