Title: Dominion Question

 If the Dominion was made as an expansion race, does anyone know what type weapons and ship designs they had? Is there a website with info on this? I Just wondering... I'd still like to see the Tholians hehe.

The Dominion... I guess Dominion Wars might be a good place to look.

  Thanks for the heads up.... Btw, I saw Dominion Wars for $20.... I take it I should'nt pick it up then... Oh well lets hope Activision does a Dominion Wars expansion pack....

I have Dominion Wars.
It's like ST-Armada without resource gathering.  It has good graphics, but it crashes every time you click too much.

I like the Strike Cruiser but I know that its very unlikely that Activision would buy the rights to use those ships.

Let's hope that Taldren makes a DW expansion.  It would add the Dominion, Cardassians, maybe more.

 SFC3.net has a forum section devoted to thinking of possible ideas for that expansion.

Those Dominion JH ships and Cardasian ships are SWEET, those would be great two additions as playable races!!!!

I know, don't hold my breath, but I can dream.

I'd like to see the Breen as well. It will mean we Romulans are not the only sneaky backstabbers in the D3-universe (and the Breen have developped a working cloak WITHOUT help from the Romulans), so they should make fine allies, but as we Romulans say: 'Never turn your back on a Breen'

  I must agree, those are some sweet looking ship designs. Even the Cardies look formidable. I doubt Taldren would allow the dominion their favorite tactics... Ramming and fighters... Cardies used wave cannons? I'm going to have to watch DS9 again....

Chris Jones has made a fantastic mod for the Dominion wars..... I've tried a few different mods for SFC3 and the Dominion Wars mod, coupled with the TNG mega-mod (total of about 150 meg) are the best things since apple pie.  I'd recommend them to any and all SFC3 players based on ease of installation, easue of use, and compatibility with original versions.

You can find the mods at Chris Jones' website.  Also, I'm in the proces of building a Role-playing server which uses these mods, called "The Omicron Directive" so anyone who sees the server up and running  and has the mods,may feel free to join.

If you do buy it, Wal Mart has it in a two pack with "DS9: The Fallen" for about $10.00

Now thats a great deal! $10.00 dollars for Dominion Wars which is a fun game but short lived game, and the Fallen a great game a sleeper hit actually.
