It doesn't matter what Ship I fly, what race I choose, its all the same, as is the opponent I'm getting ready to destroy/capture. In the "capture" screen, I notice no matter what race I fight, the Tiger Heart symbol appears. When I capture any ship, no matter which race I fly, the Gorn Symbol appears when it is captured. It doesn't affect gameplay (duh), but I ain't no Gorn !

Thats the only complaint I have about Orion Pirates....well....other than the fact its hard for me to find time to play.

Yes, but it does not seem to be to occur in D2 play (very often). I'm not sure about single player campaign mode.
-
I haven't played D2 to notice it yet, just so far on Single player. I'm sure if there were multple targets to capture it could become confusing.

I think you mean:
All your Tiger Heart are belong to Gorn!!!
HEHE!!

The controlling race is a bit messed up. (Even more so in SP skirmishes) but I don't think it will ever be fixed. (since its too minor and require more scripting changes.)
