Title: Sharing some work done for OP+

Well, I've released version 3.0 of my mod about 2 weeks ago or so. Since then, work has progressed and I've actually created some models of my own, despite the fact I'm an absolute beginner at it. I've been told that I should share with this forum.

Some of these are dead obvious and may already have been created... but since I never found them, I went ahead.

First, actual model work:

 Hydran Caravan Tug, Taldren Style :
This ship's pod isn't exactly fancy. Creating new textures seems to be beyond my capacity, but at least now I have a workable tug for my project. I've shared this with EmeraldEdge a few days ago, and we'll see what he'll come up with.
 


 Orion Double Raider, Taldren Style :
I merged 2 O-LRs together to create a passable O-DBR.
 




Next, some retexturing I did (bitmap manipulation only):

 RK5R  (Romulan version of stock KDD) :
 


 RKFR (Romulan version of Atra-hasis's Valkrys) :
I use the Valkrys as my K-F6 model. I needed something appropriate for the Romulan version: the R-KFR.
 


 RKDN/RK9R (Romulan version of Gow's C8/C9) :
I removed/replaced a few of the Klingon emblems and manipulated the colors.
 



Put them to good use, people.

PS. I preserved the original readmes in the folders of each model. The original authors are mentioned.

FS, would you please list all the custom models in you D/L please? I'd like to see what you have.

I renamed most of the files to my needs, so.. It's not going to be obvious. As for a question, that's not aneasy one to answer. Your best bet is for you to visit work in progress.

Interesting...

Have you thought of offering race specific D/L'eds? That would be nice for someone wanting just some of them and having to DL them all.

I have some models which you might like. Ones that are different looking than yours that may fit better. Want to collaborate?

I have one question...how did you get your model viewer to have  a black background?

I have one question...how did you get your model viewer to have  a black background?  



- Modviewer, loaded model.
- screencap with alt-printscreen
- mspaint
- replace all blue with black
- save as

Everybody has a different opinion and taste. I suggest you replace models on a case-by-case basis. As for doing it like you suggested..
