Title: The Orion Orions... what the heck is up?

Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in mods but let's see if anyone else has figured this out.

In the process of modifying the model library and I was dealing with the Orion/Orions in OP. I'm confused as why I cannot count on making the shiplist select the model I want to use for that specification. There seems to be a interdependence between the Orions and the cartels. I assign a new BB to be used for that class and the game uses it for that and the DN's even though I have another model for the DN's. This occurs for most of the models I'm changing. I notice ShipEdit doesn't list all of the ships in the menu (like not listing the xships) but they are there in scirmish menu. What the hey? EAW doesn't do this. I seem to not know something about OP. Anyone know the answer? A brief subject search didn't seem to answer this puzzle...

What version are you using of ShipEdit?

I use the 39902b beta and i also have the 30302 and both will allow me to do the Orions by Cartel and the X class ships are all there as well.

The versions for ShipEdit matter as the UI files and such for Op are not in the EAW one.

Using 39902b. Hmmm, this will require further investigation. I started with a stock shiplist and am importing a lot of specs from FireSouls refit shiplist. Oddly, when looking at Orion/ Orions their xships don't list in ShipEdit. I discovered it during scirmish to check the relative unadjusted sizes of the hulls I wanted to use. Perhaps I've something corrupted somewhere. Some scrutiny of the shiplist in note pad is in order. But that's all I can do today as I must get ready to spend time with friends.

Every place I try to d/l from I get a corrupted copy. Would it be possible to send me the zip? I'd really arreciate it...then I could accurately hp my models rather than just replace a stock model. Thanx again if possible.

I know for a fact the shipedit packages on  http://klingon.stasis.ca are not corrupted. Maybe there's something wrong at your end, cache related?
