Title: SFCOP Shields??

Is there anyway to alter the shields, not alter but enhance in my mind, maybe changed the colors, or the way it looks when impacted, basically, can anything be done with the shields or is that hardcoded as well

Yep

If i rember correctley they are in the Textures folder in BMP format...

Can't check don't have the game instaed any more...

Do a searh in the mods forum.

HERECY!  Don't have it on the hard drive?  How can this be, say it isn't so.  I've been there a few times myself, but it's closer to being fixed now more than ever!  Sure, it's showing it's age, and there are so many other things out there to play, but you GOTTA have it on the hard drive.  You just have to.

And you no the main reason i don't play any more is so that Moggy Don't have any compatision.....

Im not talking about the color surrounding the ships, blue, green, red and etc..., I mean the shield itself, the bubble,

I believe the bubble is hard coded.

damn good to know, I wanted something else like Defiants shields, where the shields are really close to the hull, just something new, lol thanks chris
