Title: Will the Beta Patch interfere with the Official S.F.C III Patch?

Dear Eric,Dave,Taldren and August Ladies and Gentlemenof this Forum,I would like to humbly ask if the S.F.C.III Beta Patch is going to interfere with Official S.F.C.III Patch when it become availible for download? I've been playing S.F.C.III with the Beta Patch. Will I be able to load the Official Patch with the Beta Patch already in my S.F.C.III game? Or will I only be able to load the Official Patch from a fresh install of my S.F.C.III game? I think the answer is going to be "Fresh Install". But,I'd like to see the answer in print on this Forum to be absolutely sure. Thank You,one and all,for your time. Joseph L. Rand(RJLRand@aol.com)

I would think and hope that the Official Patch will be like any other patch and just do over the current install, beta patch or not...

I have no idea, you would have to wait for official Taldren/Activision reply.

BUT if history is any indiction, you would probably uninstall the beta patch in order to install the new patch. (think back to EAW2.011, and IIRC SFC1.00b)

The new SFC3 patch will not interfere with the 1.01B patch, it will more likely include it so you will only need 1 patch.

I would imagine you will need to do a clean install before applying
the patch, but that is pure conjecture at this point.
