Title: Looking 4 Web Hosting!....Yes i am Alive!!!

Well the last few motnhs have ben crazy for me, sorry aobut the lack of models but i have ben trying to find out why i cant get 2 my webpage and update it. I have emailed the owner of the webpage thats provides me with  free space and never a reply.  no webpace means no pics to post of my new work = No new models for sfc games....
 So once agen i am looking for a place to call home.

I kind of feel its being held hostige thair because i have asked them in the last reply about  3 months back and 20 emails  later to please remove the page if they will not give me a chance to update it and they have not. So if you know any oen with some space or a free webpage provider, give me a tell!

I presume you already considered [b Nightsoft  Nightsoft ?

Cause that's free. Unfortuneately they haven't got a good track record on reliability but perhaps it changed recently?

Coming from someone who's constantly at odds with NightSoft's server, no it's track record hasn't changed at all.

What about SFC3 files? Ofocurse, you just have models right? Not finished mods? Perhaps they could do what I did on BCfiles. I started a folder for models that are converted, but nothing else. Worth asking about IMHO.


edit-lol...that still wouldn't solve your picture problem...oops.

How do you feel about Gamespy's ads and fileplanet?

(if you feel acceptable, SFU always has a place open)

Yeah I've had this problem recently too.  I was designing a new site for my stock replacement mod but I don't have webhosting right now to host it.  I doubt I have enough content to make it onto SFU.  The quality of this site will be better  than my old site though.

Try www.gamersigs.com which hosts images etc, and by special arrangement will also do mod hosting for you.

anyone know if frostworks is any better than nightsoft?

Yes, I would say Frost Works is better than Nightsoft for hosting, but beware.........the host for Frost Works shut down DAP for posting models. They have a faster server and connection then we do.

Originally we intended to host only images for the community, but the need for free websites was high, so we offered space for sites. We never expected to have the response we did, as we have over 60 sites on our server, a mix of storage, pic and website sites.

At any rate, our current location does not give us many options for upgrading our speed. We are looking for another location to have more options.
