Title: 'nother new WIP

Ok - I've been working on another new ship... Romulan this time... and I've also done a wee bit more to the Spectre.  Let me know what you guys think.

I'm not sure about those nacelles sticking out the front, but the rest is good.

Thanks Starforce... Is it because the warp supports look a little weak (which I agree with), or is it because they're forward bearing? - or is it a combination..?

The Merlin's nacelles have been brought forward to keep them out of the way of the four mine layers she carries (it woudn't do at all for her to accidentally clip one  while performing her duty).  Apart from the mines, she's armed only with two light disrupters and  a light plasma torp - she's really more of a support ship and isn't intended for heavy combat.

Like the Rommie. Would like to put it in my mod for public release when you get it done. Need rommies and the mod involves a lot of mine laying   Feds nice too though hard to make out from that angle.

I guess I would say a combination. Nacelles just look being stuck way out infront, looks as if they'd be ripped off the first time the thing went to warp, plus they'd block the foreward fire arc.

Well I'll hopefully have a variant sorted out for you to assess by the weekend...  I've given this current version over to another modeller to work on, he's correcting a few things and making some slight modifications, maybe his version will appeal a bit more to you when it's done.

Incidentally, if anyone wants to use ANY of my models (raw as they are) just let me know and I'll be only too happy to share them with you to texture and modify as you see fit - I'll also happily offer loadout suggestions if you want them too.
