Since I can't find the post I was looking for, I thought I'd post here.
Using Atrahasis KCR, FASA Romulan V-11 Stormbird and his D2 RBB textures I came up with this:

I will most likely go back to the original KCR warp engines as the new textures are NOT lit and they seem kind of 'overkill' to me.
BTW: These textures don't seem to work on the D-10B.... I still can't get that Gorkon right either, LOL.
Opinions, comments? Atrahasis?

Very Nice Is it ready for download.

Beat me to it I was looking at his old stuff from the ex-Eras of wars site too. Was planning on Romulans after this current load was finished.

I really like this model. glad to see you did a Rom version. Thanks, nice job!

Very nice.....and of course let us never forget the marvelous Moonraker whose Ktinga all of these fine ships are based on.
-
Good point about Moonraker! Thank you to Moonraker as well.
Well Atrahasis, would you keep the Romulan style warp engines or go back to the C-7 style?
If you would keep the Romulan style can you send me just the mod file to klingonfanatic@hotmail.com with the lit engine parts so I can update this model properly?
If its OK to get this hosted let me know, as always I will update the readme file properly.

I actually like this model.
I would try copying the warp engines from the Atra/Moon/P81 Stormbird model. They match the FASA drawings and are definitly Romulan looking. I think they look pretty cool on the Stormbird so they might add just the right ammount of "Romulan-ness" to the warp engines on this ship too.

That is an interesting idea for another variant Captain KoraH.
However, the FASA Romulan V-11 Stormbird engines Atrahasis made are closer in appearance to Federation warp engines. The Federation style was intentional as I recall from the ship description. As I am at work, I don?t recall all the details about exactly why it was made that way.

I've never heard that before but it's an interesting idea. I guess when I said they "definitly look Romulan" I meant "compared to the K'Tinga engines".
