Title: What your favorite music/song/score from the SFC series?

I always liked the selection screen music for the Romulans and Klingons in SFC. Overall SFC  had the most musical flavor for me

Actually I find myself partial to the SFC2/OP menu music.

The Klingon theme in SFC1 was the best music they ever had. I liked the Hydran music in SFC1 too.

Definitely the Romulan Screen in SFC1

Although the Mirak Battle Theme n SFC2op is pretty good as well.

just about any of the sfc1 stuff.. i really like the fed sfc1 stuf.. it is _unarguably_ trek!

I'll agree with 3dot14- the Romulan menu music is very cool.

Nothing beats the Lyran Theme, nothing.  It's the whole reason I learned to fly Lyran.  That, and Lyrans are just awesome.

You guys are gonna love this! On Ron Jones official site, you can actually watch a video recording of Ron Jones and his orchestra recording the Romulan theme music from SFC1!!! Here is the link:

Click on the "View from a session" link and watch Ron and the orchestra record the famous piece. This piece of music is even popular on Music sharing sites like Kazaa, where it's called "SFC - The Romulan.mp3"

I like the Klingon theme they play in the movies whenever Klingon ships are about....it's loverly!

Is there any other place the SFC1 soundtrack is available other than www. starfleetuniverse.com? When I log in to d/l them I keep getting a 'You are forbidden' error message when I try to d/l the music. I hope that just means that they are in process of moving the files...

Has to be the DS9 for intro's but for anything else its the sfc2/op menu music.

On another note- I despise most sfc3 music minus klingon and romulan main themes.

That Romulan theme music is nothing short of totally brilliant in my opinion. One of the best game score pieces I've ever heard.

OT for a sec, have you guys heard the score to the game Medal of Honor? It's pretty incredible. Some 24 yr old composer directing the LA Philharmonic orchestra... Also I liked the score for Homeworld too, although it's not of the calibre of these others I've mentioned. One last addition, I think all the Bioware Dungeons and Dragons games have excellent scores as well. If you can find any of their music you should listen to it, it's great stuff.
