Title: Pivot points for break mods do they work? with fan built ships

I Have seen when opeing up the brk file of the stock starships they have a dummy box called pivot point for each section that breaks away.

But am wondering if I tranferd them to my brk mod will they work for it? or are they hard coded for each model.

Pivot points are optional, I personally don't think they make much of a difference. I ignore them completely now, although way back when I put them in.
