Title: ATTN: All modellers, we're looking for NON-Trek!

Just mentioning this because this has been an underground theme for a little bit here...

Here's some of the requests for stuff:

- Farscape - Moyah
                   - Farscape 1
                   - Talyn
                   - Prowler

- Firefly       - Serenity

- Babylon 5 - Vorlons
                    - Minbari
                    - Thirdspace Aliens
                    - ISA ships

This is what I've noticed anyways..  I'm slowly working on a Moyah and Farscape 1, along with converting over AA2000's Minbari and a couple of ISA ships.  But it'd be *really* nice if people wanted to focus on their favorites and generate some stuff in that show.  We can all use more diversity in our games, and I know that I'm not the only one that's seen a dearth of non-Trek for a long time..

Any takers?

I had no idea that their was going to be a spinoff of Farscape!  How did you get this information?

Actually, I've only heard rumors about a movie.. that's it to date.  Although the "Save Farscape" and similar campaigns have now raised almost $400,000 to date.

As for why it was cancelled, that was Vivendi's decision (the same people that brought you the cancellation of Babylon 5: Into The Fire, a cutting edge space simulation game set in the Babylon 5 universe that would've been an awesome game; cut at 85% project completion).  Vivendi owns SciFi Channel, and they've been losing money for years.  Vivendi quoted low numbers and rising costs for the cancellation of Farscape.. for all the details on it, head over to "Save Farscape" and get all the details, the original cancellation notice, and the "Save Farscape" rebuttal to that notice with examples as to why Vivendi was blowing smoke.

Unfortnately, all rumours about Farscape, are strictly that - and what a bloody awful place to leave us hanging too!!!

Well, if I had the time I'd certainly like to take a whack at some of these.  Was thinkin' about doin' Serenity, but then I thought.  Hey, it doesn't have any weapons.  Hmmm.  Anyhow, I am workin' on a set of non-trek models at the moment.  It'll be interesting to see what happens if they get finished.

I remember downloading a mesh for it a long time ago.. but it wasn't in SFC format, I do remember that.

So, I don't think that anyone has released it for SFC as of yet..

(But it'd look awesome ingame).

I look a look a MajorRacal's Liberator and she looks good. It's been quite a while since I last saw "Blake's 7" so I have a vague memory of the ship. But I seem to remember there were two ships during the series. One was destroyed?...

The Liberator was destroyed at the end of season 3 and the replacement Scorpio was destroyed in the finale episode ar the end of season 4.

Oh yeah. The finale was NOT a happy one as I recall now.

I was really sorely disappointed in the way it was done.

No, it wasn't a happy ending, and to think, Servalan wasn't even there to gloat...  

Azel...  I'm sure I've got the production artwork for Talyn and the Prowler (I don't think Moya was included for some strange reason)  - I think I put them in the loft, so I'll have a look tomorrow before I go to work.  If they're there, I'll get them scanned in and forward them to you when I get back.

Alec, send me some diagrams or schematics or pics and I can do a few meshes for ya...you'll need to texture though, as I'm still learning fed textures, much less aliens, lol.
