as many as i can think of...
1. Can you change the start up image (the one that shows the orion BC with the logo, copyright info etc)
2. Same for the interface graphics
3. And the ship overviews (like on the ship selection screen)
4. Is there a way to change the sounds without having to distribute the entire sound file or making the user zip anything
cause im making a custom TNG ish era mod for OP (OP cause its not played online much so it wont affect our normal games), and not only doesnt the OP bg not make much sense, neither do TMP interfaces nor the ship schematics

the answer is easy:
No to all of them.
the first three are locked in either the exe or sprite file, neither of which is editable. The last one you answered it yourself. Those are the only ways. (unless someone can develope/find a commandline zip program...)
