WOHOOOOOOOO!!!! The Navy Advancment results came out
I'm now an IC1. Only 22 advanced this time and I am one of them!!!!

In the Navy we take an advancment exam and to advance first you must pass it (very important) and then make the grade for the amount of petty officers of that rank to advance to that paygrade. I advanced from E-5 to E-6.
My next step would be Chief and I will not be elligible for that for another three years. With that I must again pass a rating exam and then I must be selected through a board of Master Chiefs who determine who makes it to chief and who does not.
Thanks again guys, it means allot. This time around they only advanced 22 IC1's and the quota was only 10% this time around compared to the 104 advanced last exam and the 100 advanced last time.
So I'm proud I made the grade this time around it says allot.
I'm just hoping I can help others in the fleet to make it where I am now (Shore duty enjoying the sun, lol, naw to make the grade) .
