Does firing a proble before firing..lets say quatums help the hit %. I have been told to fire a probe and just as it hits the opposing ship to fire heavies...any merrit in this or the same bogusness we heard in SFC2?

Sounds like a Romulan told you this to make you waste your probes

If you turn your scanners on you get a better hit chance... but I think that's it. Can any Feds explain this?
