That's funny.

Wow, I can hardly believe a WIP posted. Be interested in seeing how this Hydran develops. I think I said this before in your Gorn release thread but I would dearly love to see that Lyran you made some time ago have a couple of companions. IMHO, I thought it was the coolest Lyran interpritation I've seen. I'm really surprised no one kitbashed that sucker six ways to Sunday.

BTW, welcome back to the model forum. There's smoking and non-smoking to accomodate all. Hope you enjoy your stay.

I have a bunch of Lyrans on the books right now, but the design I had for this Hydran finally just DEMANDED to be done.

As for the 'tail', it just looked right

I like that texture! Kind of reminds me of a Hydran version of a Sovereigns features. I would guess those are escape pods near the edge? Should be good. BTW, I use your old Chatlain as a CVL and HDW for the Hydrans and am glad to have it.

Thanks for the Lyran news as well. As much as I like what I think is a BCH I had wanted to see a similar NCL and NCA in that format. I can't be the only one here that uses that model, can I? I mean just look at it! It makes a lot more sense than the Taldran Lyran IMHO. That would have been the perfact answer for the Lyrans TMP design.

Man thats like my Hydran-Fed hybrid...minus the third nacelle on the secondary hull (ventral)

One thing I would absolutely love is if someone could possibly use the Taldren model as a base for a much more advanced cruiser design.  Sleeker, meaner, faster, and more stealthy looking... Oooh yeah...  (And a cloak..) Hehe
