The conversion of Hydran war cruisers to the New heavy Cruiser configuration was somewhat more complicated than the Federation and Klingon systems. A long "ridgeback" structure was built containing various additional systmes (fusion beam, command, power, hull, lab, and a tractor). As they had done with many of their other hull types, the hydrans produced two different versions of this ship; a fusion/fighter version and a hellbore version. The Mohawk was the fusion/fighter version, and the Iroquois was the hellbore version.

Rogue, do you mean you are planning on making a version of this ship as well?
Wished I had the know how. No, I am dependent on people like yourself for these small wonders. The way I have my model library set up is centered around the TMP style. All models before year 0, or so, in OP I am retrograding to that of SFB. That's how I get the models to evolve as the game years advance in campaign play.
My biggest problem... is figuring out how to work in most of my personal favorites where they will get used. This is no small feat, let me tell you. For the most part no model gets used for more than three specifications. And I havn't even touched anything TNG. Firesouls OP+ has been a gold mine of new specifications to use. Especialy for the HDW's. Many a model is used for those specifications. I have been forced to come up with a few of my own for starships like WZ's Suvwi'qeh. That one became a battlecruiser version of the K'Tinga. Now you know what my hobby has been for the last number of months.

Those are fusion beams. Hellbores have a cylindrical barrel(like on my Paladin).
