Title: New AMD Mobos
Post by: Iceman on November 27, 2003, 06:36:01 pm
What was the brand/model number if you know it of the new 64 bit motherboards?  I wanted to look at them.

just do a search for A64 motherboards. You should get a dozen or so that fit your needs. I generally don't bother to remember the model numbers until I'm almost ready to buy.

I'm buying one of these for my new Athlon 64 3200+ based system:
Chaintech  ZNF3-150 ZENITH
My friend went with one of these:
Asus K8V Delux

The VIA chipset A64 mobos seem to be the best option right now - the Nvidia NForce 3 ones have some issues I believe. You upgrading soon Iceman?

Well, I was noticing some huge sales. Best Buy has a 120gb hard drive for$50, some other great stuff.  I got to thinking, and I know I'm going to need a computer in college next year so I figured now is the time.
