Title: (SFB R1.203) FXX: Federation Express First Generation Xship

Daaaamn. The X1 Federation Express (R1.203 in SFB) in progress looks so good that this work could very well branch itself into a "Fast Destroyer" design. I took the Lotus from Atra-hasis (I asked him first.)

It's not finished yet, and this is pretty much the branching point, if I want to make other things with it:
 
 



What do you think? Couldn't this do well as a destroyer?



What's left to do for the FXX:
I need to make the viewports much bigger, and maybe turn them into bay windows. I also need to shrink the model. This thing's tiny: the FXX is move cost of 0.10 only. Oh, and I need to change the texture for the markings, of course.

What's left to do for the FDX:
Put TOS engines on it.

Looks good...like a TMP version of the Furious class from SF Museum...me likey!!

Interesting. This isn't a ship I expected to see someone taking a pass at. I agree that it needs to be smaller(Fed-Ex's are indeed tiny), and with different markings. It'll be totally cool after that though!

Go look at the other post. .. oh, and it *IS* tiny.
