Title: WHOOT!!!! T-minus Two days and counting.

My wife recieved a Letter from SSI this morning. She has an appointment Thursday with Her SSI person to discuss Her Benifits, and wiether or not she wan't Direct Deposit.

It's been a long long year, But It looks like It will end On a good note finaly.

BTW, I hope to be able to pay you guys who went above and Beyond as soon as we get some Cash Flow again. Once again, My eternal thanks.

Forget everyone that helped Stephen, not in a bad way, but you know, that money runs out quick. Use it for good purposes and invest what you have left over wisely. You have it made man, Denise and you deserve that SSI, I'm really worried about when my day comes, VA those guys and gals are NOT. It seems ludicrous that one major health care provider can say one thing, and some SSA dude or dudette can say another, but that's the way it goes. Hopefully Rep. Lamar Smith and Sen. Hutchison listen in on my letters of recommending a more simpler app.

Believe me Stephen, the money goes quick, I gave half to Leda for putting up with my BS, and slowly but surely the other half disappeared. All I have now is my investment money...

I appreciate that Jack, But I do promise to pay back what was owed, Not only to you for some prescriptions awhile back, but also to Mush , GrimBeard, Sethan, and MSnevil.

They have been very good friends to me over the years, and through my latest Crisses, and I want It To remain that way. After all a promise is a promise, and there where so many other's that I can't recall. Heck taldren had even sent my wife a Get well card, wich raised her spirits ever so much.

She knows how much I love you guys, And she appreciates also how Many give her thought's, well wishes, and prayers each and every day. It's because of this, that I also must keep my word, and do my best not only to pay back what I borrowed, But also To be there in the Future should someone need It.

Uhhmmmmm, if I remember correctly, my gift was sent without a return, ok? I'm not going to argue on a forum about this issue. I have had my day in the govt checkbook, and I'm telling you to keep it and be careful. As you know, I get 2318 every month from VA, there are over 6k peeps on this forum, so I get a little every month from each and every one of them, and no complaints from them, even when I lost it sometimes. Stephen, the money is there, the benefits are there, use it while it IS THERE... I'd much rather see you and your wife get some than some Iraqi or Turkish or Illegal bastiche that never really earned anything in this country before.

Let us know how the proceedings go, it may help us all one day if there is money left in the till...

 Congrats Stephen. I am really glad to hear that things are going to get better for you.

On a side note. Dont invest money that you may have left over in anything that leaves a paper trail. SSI will really stick it to you. You are only allowed to have so much cash ($2000 I believe). If they find out you have more than $2000, they may review her case and decide that Denise no longer needs the money. If you start making more income from investments, they may also reduce the amount of money she receives.

Thanks Ann, BTW One of the First Sigs on the card, and she really didn't evenknow me at the time, But that shows character IMHO.
