LOTR and ST music live, never have and dont know when I will...shame.
-
Several symphonies play ST music, since it is technically a classical score. They also throw in SW. I remember going to the hollywood bowl a couple years back and they played the opening score to ST-TNG to a laser light show

The community orchestra that I play with has performed LOTR, ST and SW at various concerts. You just need to find the right group to go and see.

In alot of my playlists i have tons of SW orchestral songs i ripped from the OT soundtracks.
-
I always wanted to see the music from Conan the Barbarian performed live Basil Poledirus(sp?) is the man.
-
Poledouris seems so choppy when taken out of the context of the movie. I can't remember Conan but I'm thinking of Hunt for Red October and Robocop.
-
I have a few Trek songs and FOTR and TTT soundtracks (actually lost the first) I have ds9 live which is real cool!
-
I think at least some of it is someone else. The orgy scene in the tower temple of Set is Wagner (I think.)
-
At my title, just noticed I wrote "see" when music involves a bit more of listening
-
There is no greater musical experience than hearing a symphony perform the theme from The Day The Earth Stood Still.
