Hi Azel
Very nice I have one suggestion. Due to the size of the secondary hull it might be a good idea to place a second set of impulse engines on her. Looking forward to seeing the model get made in the near future
-
IMHO, the engines look a little stubby (is that a hybrid of the oberth and TMP enterprise engines?)

There actually 3 sets of secondary impulse engines on the secondary hull
But you cannot see them from the two veiws :P

Aye... they are a hybridized design...But if you look at the side veiw they are huge bulky things...as She
is an SCS she would not want to make them too much of a target :P
And they are wide to also take hits...even the pylon that is holding the nacelle is as wide as the nacelle is
a trait shared with the Defiant

Very cool redesign, I already get why you made the nacelles like they are so the other thing I would say is to alter the very back end a little, it seems too boxy right now, maybe make the angle at the back shallower and make the section longer? Just that bit reminds me of one of those pics on shipschematics where they but blocks with all these sharp angles and blunt sides on otherwise sleek looking ships. The rest of it I can't really find anything to complain about.

Yeah I know that the boxy butt is not too attractive, but It is nessesary for the era of the design and function...
maybe I'll do a TNG version

Sweetness. I like it alot. You should design some fighters and heavy fighters for it(TMP F-14's, A-10's, and F-111's anyone?). Does this thing have external mech links or anything like that?

Dude ... you are striking a serious nerve in this ol mans heart .. this is the way I use to do things... before the advent of these fancy gadgets ... had several hundred dollars tied up in drafting stuff ( a lot 30 years ago for a secondary hobby )
Brings back some very fond memories .... thanks ... some where around here I have some drawings I did for a SCIFI Book years ago.. we later used the ol photo shop to color it in...
again a very personal ... thanks ...

Forgot to comment on this girl yesterday.
She look cool too and resembles one of the dropped designs for the refitted Enterprise of Star Trek: TMP to me.
