Can someone help me figure out how to modify and import stuff from SFC into milkshape, and back again? I'd also like some modelling help too...
-
First off do you have the plugins for it?
if you do then it is easy if you don't you can not do it
Importing is simple just go to the import menu and select want game the ship came from. Exporting is also easy choose export and then the game type you want it to go into. This can only be done if you have the plugins though or you can not do any of this.

ModelsPlease. With any MS3d plugins they are placed in the main milkshape directory.

And there it is!
Yup as said unzip the file into the main directory and all should go well. When you open milkshape it will take a bit longer to load as that is when all plugins should load into the program. as for the actual modelling all I can say is start off by making shapes. After you get a few shapes made practice merging them into new ones, after that practice kitbashing models,

For modeling, I started out with MS3D, and an old hand (WZ IIRC) said to start with a sphere and the just select individual points and move them around til you get the shape you want. I'm sure some of the more advanced users of Milky can give you a better start than that, but it's a place to start.
