Is there any news as to when things will be up and running again?  I was rather interrested in seeng some of your pre-Federation ships

Its a pitty that todays servers arent as reliable as 24th century Borg technology huh

Yes, it looks like Perooz is out of business, although they haven't respoonded to any of my queries so that's only a theory at this point.

When I can scrape up another $50 or so I'll move the site to another server who will hopefully stay in business...

In short, hang in there, the Staryards is not gone forever.

Hope it up soon.

Hey the messages get cut off on the far right. Do I need to set something in my browser?

You can always get hosted by Nightsoft, even if it is just temporarily. You may have to wait though, as Raven's ISP is cancelling its services (DirectDSL)

Real sorry about that, Cleeve- you sure are a scholar and a gent...

so good ol' Nightraven's losing his as well? What is the deal with these companies? Wonder why they can't sem to keep their act together... Gosh, wish I could open a business, then just let it lapse off. Pathetic.
Sorry again guys- wish I had service, I'd host them all...

we'll wait for you...

Buds, I just started using www.hypermart.net and I am very happy with it. It's expensive though, there is a monthly fee. I got the professional package which I think is $40 per month but what they hey.

I found a sweet deal with these guys:

http://www.webhost2.com/hosting.html

500 MB space
10 GB/Month transfer
$50/year
Free setup

Not too shabby... I bought in.

That does sound like a great deal, but do they have a lot of server downtime? Because I hate that.

Great news cleeve. Hey this may sound stupid. But where is the button to start a new topic? I tried linking to SFC3.net and get a network error. Anyone else having problems. Trying to see if its on my end or theres.

Nevermind got on at sf3net and found the post button

Hey cleeve did you lose all your web pages when the other server went down? That would be a lot of work to restore eh.
