In SFC2 OP, whats the difference btwn the R\Lwarp power, Center Warp power, Impulse Power, APR, in respect to the games power, what the ship gets I mean
adam out
PS I know R\L, means double the power is put there, the center is just the power you put there, but Is the speed affected by the impulse power, and the APR, auxillary power, can that be activated in the game or what
-
R/L is left and right warp engines, which as you noted would be "doubled" as each engine needs it's warp boxes to count. That means that collumn will always be an even number. C is center warp engine. Only one movement "point" can be given by impulse, no matter how many impulse boxes there are. The rest are just for power that is used for ships systems, weapons etc.... The same is true for APR (Auxiliary Power Reactor) , except it cannot be used for movement at all as it is not an engine. They all add up to your Total Power output and get used in the game automatically.

well let me help you out a little from the Original Shipedit :
R/L Warp Power :

Center Warp :

Impulse Power :

APR :

Batteries :

BTW, you can open Shiplist in the EAW / SFC I Shipedit (Shipedit v3.03.02) and it will give you descriptions of each box and the standard values used and most times examples... all this will be listed in the left lower hand box.
Hope tht this helps...

Ok Warp R\L and center can be used for anything, impulse only 1 point to speed and the rest for anything, APR only for systems none of it for Speed, and Batteries for anything except things that require warp power
correct me if im wrong
next, how would you guys determine a ship warp power, impulse, apr, battery
Im doing this for TNG, i know most of you guys do TMP, or TOS, but any examples would help, thanks slot
