Here's where you can download a playable version of the R-22 (Scythe) class Heavy Cruiser

NB - I've noticed that the damage textures do not appear to be working, if anyone can offer any advice/solutions, please let me know.

The link goes to page not found. Is this damage texture problem in SFC3 or 2?
-
Link has been corrected.
The problem is in SFC3. I don't have 2 so have no idea how it'll affect anything there.

Cool ship sir,am D/L'ing right now.Thank you

That is one COOOOL ship!
Thank you, sir!
I'll be snagging her tonight.

Apologies to anyone who's downloaded this - the BS image has not been scaled for the in-game UI, while this is not a major issue, it is irritating. I don't have time to amend it now, but will post a corrected file later...
Also, the damage texture question is still open...

Sorry, but what is a BS image?
-
a BS image is in SFC3, when you are 'viewing' a ship, buying it, what-have-you, its the picture on the upper right... a perspecitve shot, or Beauty Shot...:)
it seems scaled fine really, MajorRacal... also, good work!!

The reason the damage doesn't show is SFC3 uses individual damage maps for each ship. So each and every ship in game must have a damage map in its folder. 1 damage map for every regular texture. Open up the Saber folder for example. If a map is labled Sabertop1.bmp The damage map is labeled Sabertop1D.bmp and the damage light map is Sabertop1_iD.bmp
Check out the Merlin I textured for you I had damage maps included in it. You also need the TI and VL files for the library and the gf file.
SFC3ModelTools has a manula that details how to make damage textures. You use the specific maaps for your ship.I see you have one named Rjavel3. I use PSP. What works good and is fast is to to crhome the enitre map. This is the default chrome not the plugin which makes it all metallic. The default chrome kinda dirtys up the map. Adding noise helps also or just making the map darker with contrast. Then I select areas using the free hand tool to add hull breeches. You dont want them too crisp because the game just uses part of the damage map and applies it randomly.

Thank you very much!
d/ling now.

Perhaps they're not working because I keep putting an underscore before the D...
Thanks R-G !
