There is an improved Concorde Class that has a Sovereign Class Sauser situated on top of the Concorde's flat surface. I like that one MUCH better

You've piqued my curiosity...what's the name of this improved Concorde, and do you have a picture?

i know that Dawn and an other guy made models of that giant ship for Armada but i have never seen this for SFC

It's also a Concorde Class, and the RPG Site I saw the design in seems to be down at the moment, so I can't send you a link.

I look a look and saw what you meant by the Soveriegn hull.

To tell you the truth, I'm not too crazy about that version. It looks like an afterthought and the hull was welded to the top of the originla Concorde primary hull. The one thing I DO like about it is that we get a better sense of scale with the addition of the Sovereign primary hull. we can definately see how much larger a ship the concorde is.

At some point I'd like to see an overhead view of the following ships to scale for size comparisons (kinda like how WickedZombie does when he releases a new ship):

Titan (ussmiranda.com version)
Titan (WickedZombie's version)
Excalibur Mark I
Excalibur Mark II
Concorde
Sovereign
Galaxy

Yeah, those Concordes are HUGE, and in fact I am such a fan of the design that it is the basis of another MUCH, MUCH larger carrier which is based on a fan fic/RPG I am on.

 

Hey...where can I find WickedZombie's version of the Titan?

Well, it's kind of like the difference between a B'Rel and K'Vort Klingon ship...both Birds of Prey in design, form, structure, appearance, etc...

BUT...

One is significantly smaller than the other.

That's kinda how I think of the "Concorde" type used in my fan fic/RPG.
