Title: APB: Batter for Fried Squash, Okra and tomatoes

Are you looking for a Corn meal, Or Flour Batter?

Flour batter( kinda) but really whatever stays on well and tastes good with skillet fried veggies. I found some beer batter and onion ring batter mixes in the store but this is for latter when My plants mature so I can Fry them ain stead of just boiling or steaming or stir fry. I want an olf fashioned country fried veggies.

 Sounds good your making me hungry!!
 Zatarains makes a pretty good pre mix for both flour & Corn meal . I find that corn meal works better on veggies that have allot of water in them like Zucchini & Eggplant. But its all up to personal preference.

I asked my Aunt today what she uses, and she Said that she uses a Flour Batter for Tomatoes, but uses a Bear Bread Batter (thinned down ) For squash etc. I'll try and get her exact recipes tomorrow or Monday.

thanks. Batter is relatively but getting the right seasonings in it is not. thats why I made the APB.
