Age, he means if someone is having a recurring problem with the game after using v531 patch, to poet the problem here..

If you are using a modded version of the game .. make a different post.. this one is for posting problems in the Stock unaltered v531 build game.

Ok I cleared out my old install of the game, checked for the latest drivers for everything including DirectX and decided to iinstall SFC 3. I followed everything per instructions and I installed the patch... And here's what I got:

I am running Windows XP Home Edition, my video card is a Radeon 9600 PRO, with 512MB of RAM... I have a 80GB HD... My other games are running fine execpt this one.... Can anyone help out a Borg player please?

lol i got the same error . i spent a hour trying 2 figger it out lol u are going to laught

u 4got to install the 1.01 bata patch be4 the batapatch2

OK.. I made a web page that is a bit clearer on installing and has links for all files needed to get to version v531, with exception of Vid Card Drivers

Only problem so far was the need to delete allscripts.cache to get into a non-campaign mission without crashing. At least that seemed to fix the problem anyway.

According to the install instructions.. if you do all the instructions in order and DO NOT lauch the game in the process until you are finished patching, then there will be no CampaignScripts.cache or AllScripts.cache until you launch the game..

anyhow, i will add this to the Trouble shooting on the web page... just to be safe.

There's the problem then. I launched after the first patch to make sure all was working normally, before going on to the second patch.

Didn't delete the game folder in my programs did you thats the problem.Don't quote me on this though as Pestalence said delete game folder and I know him really well he has been helping me great deal.I hope this helps.

I'm finding that in a lot of cases I have to jump out of a mission specific hex and jump back in to get the ability to select and start the single player campaign missions. I am now doing the Romulan campaign and 4 out of 6 missions I have had to jump like this.

Warden, you posted in the correct area.. I have already started a listing for this error for the Testers to review to try to nail down what is causing this.. so far very few people have made a statement about this.. so far a total of 3...

but it is enough to warrant testing and confirmation.

Actually you posted in the right forum.

I'd ask that ALL bug and problem reports be posted in the SFC3 bug forum. That way both Taldren and the testing group can review and the probelms will not be lost in the volume of posts here.

I thought so as patchs do not except mods only stock items sorry.
