Is thqat a scout. QWhat are those antennae like things on the 4x pods? What is the Soyuzclasss? Cool design. Way too much Impulse engine for a small ship tho. Could they be smaller? It'd be good if it had an aft hull... but thats a BB impulse on a CA hull. Or is it an FF size?

you don't know the Soyuz ???
its not a scout the writing in the pic says what it is and those things on the pods are no antennas those are the mega phasers and those pods are the turrets which are 360 degree rotatable

Those antannae like things are outboard sensor pods,Dizzy sir, here are some articles about the Soyuz Class.

Ex-Astris-Scientia
Federation Starship Datalink
Trekmania
The PADD
This page has a great close-up of the Soyuz phaser canons mounted under the sensor pod on the top of her hull,as well as some other great screen captures and renderings

Enjoy the reading. Nice work on the Soyuz sir, though Captain Pierce is right ,that's a third shuttlebay not an impulse engine. I guess we could say your ship is a Soyuz varient.

The Soyuz class was a variant of the Miranda class (obviously
) seen in the TNG episode "Cause and Effect." The Soyuz-class USS Bozeman, NCC-1941, spent something like 88 years in some sort of time loop in the Typhon Expanse. In the episode, Geordi is surprised to see the Bozeman because Soyuz-class ships haven't been in service in 80 years--which, given the never-ending service life of the Miranda, seems a bit odd, but whatcha gonna do?
What exactly the pods and antennae are is a source of never-ending debate, much like the outboard "pods" of the New Orleans class that we had a go at a few weeks back.
"Phasers" and "sensors" both have their camps; I tend to follow the latter, but that's because I have some very odd theories about the Soyuz and why it's service life (or at least its "official" service life
) might have been so short.
Finally, Terradhyne, I hate to say it, but what you have as the upper impulse engine there isn't an impulse engine at all--it's Shuttlebay 3. I would point you to this reference pic from Pedro's Shiporama: http://www.shiporama.org/images/miranda/bozemn1.jpg. You can also see the unusual bridge module in that pic, which almost looks like it's off the Phase 2 Constitution-class...
All offered in the spirit of constructive criticism...
For the polycount, it's an impressive piece of work.

Wouldn't it make more sense if the Soyuz class wasn't an offshoot, but a predecessor? the gear on it looks seriously out of date compared with other TMP era ships, so wouldn't it make more sense that this ship is much older that the miranda, and went through many many refits over the years?

P.S. I like Latinas...
....And apparently Asian ladies as well...

Well, admittedly, I put entirely too much faith in the fact that Bozeman is NCC-1941 (a reference to Steven Spielberg's classic and little-known film "1941," in which Greg Jein's models made their feature-film debut
) , and Reliant is NCC-1864. Yeah, I know, I'm old school, and quite silly for expecting registries to make sense...
