Title: Question on torpedo data
Post by: Mike H on March 01, 2003, 12:04:01 pm
I've made a web page that consolidates SFC3 weapon data into a more readable format.  However, I still need info on two questions:

1) Assuming the most recent patch, what is the percent chance that a polaron torpedo will penetrate enemy shield?

2) How are the range, to hit %, and damage values modified for Federation torpedoes when used in proximity mode?

I would like to update my page to include this info.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

Going out on a limb here so don't quote me.

1. IIRC it was somewhere around 15% maybe 25%

2. Nothing changes except damage which is 50% of a normal torp

Damage for a proxy is 0.5 that of normal.  Chance to hit is +20%.

Thanks,

Dave

Does the polaron torp stand more chance of shield penetration with legendary crew?

i.e. instead of multivolley
