Title: WZ45s Lexington retexture ala Ganymad style

I have been using some of Ganymad?s Retexture work on WZ45?s Ulysses Class for the past couple of months to provide another version of WZ45's Lexington. Ganymad also asked me to post some pics because I am having problems getting the saucer textures to match the secondary hull and engines. The secondary hull is a MAJOR refit and just needs saucer textures to match.

Note here I prefer Excelsior style warp engines over the STOCK KA style. Why? I like the TMP style warp engines as they make more sense to me than TNG ones.

Below is an earlier retexture where I used Moonraker?s warp texture glows to make the warp lighting easier to see on my PC in game. You'll note that I also used Redragon's Dawnstar's deflector on the earlier retexture...

I used WZ45?s Dominion War Ambassador Refit deflector on this latest retexture attempt. If Ganymad can tackle the saucer [i.e., same STYLE of saucer but with an Alternate registry] and  the impulse engine section [front, top and sides only; the newer Ulysses red impulse textures look great on her]. IF WZ45 approves, I'll get this up at SFU when she's done.

Note the impulse engines really are slick, Ganymad did a good job on them. The pic is just crappy.

I got the idea to do this when Ganymad released his latest Ulysses class retexture [at SFU} and for laughs I dropped the Lexington mod file into the Ulysses folder. I liked most of what I saw [ not the Ulysses  saucer textures on the lexington though] and with some tweaking I came up with this.

Some ideas I had about this retexture included a theme about fleet uniformity and that perhaps the yellow 'bays' could be locations where the drone racks were reloaded [Yeah, I'm mixing SFB with KA...]

Thanks WZ45! She's not ready yet for posting though.

Ganymad, don't forget the alternate registries for the warp engines, LOL. How about USS Discovery? I have no real preference though. Ship Registry: NCC [TMP era] whatever...
