No, the background are stored in .mod files...

Its in the models folder under space, open space and theyre there, but if those are indentical to th ones i have theres no point in sending them, im just wonder if anyone has any other ones out there, maybe ones they downloaded other than the stock ones, or any special they made that they can share stuff like that, thanks guys

Some one once posted replacements from the hubble telescope, but I no longer have them and the site is gone.

The SFC3 SPACE MOD works great in SFC:OP.... I think it improves the OP game backgrounds. Then again you might consider looking for James Formos backgrounds.

I'm sorry, I should have been clearer. The Space Mod I was referring to is the STOCK Space mod folder in the model folder for SFC3. Make a back up of your SFC:OP Space mod folder before copying and pasting the SFC3 Space mod folder into your SFC:OP Model folder.
