V. Cool, I wouldn't label it as a 'refit' when it's clearly got no relation to the Akula bar the 2-vertical-nacelles arrangement. I really loved these Designs based off the Excelsior that aren't obvious kitbashes, they're actually different ships with the same aesthetic, kinda like different models of car made built by the same manufacturer.

Q: Wasn't this one of the Ships of the Starfleet ships by Todd Guenther back in the '80's? He did specs for a really cool looking SCS called the Ingram based of the Excelsior, similar to this. Worth checking out.

this model was made of my Loki and Michael Adam class meshes with the design idea of the Akula and a bit more torpedo power
the Loki and Michael Adam class ships where designed by Eric Kristiansen and are based of the Joshua class command cruiser, nver heared something about the ingram, there are some other Excelsior design ships out in the net that have a similar look or parts of the Loki and Michael Adam class ships, the Ingwechi is similar to my Akula design but has no shuttle bay behind the bridge and no torplaunchers and there is the Faron that has similarities with the Micheal Adam class

that is some beautiful work Terra!!!
Thee Igram is basically a sleeked-out battle harden excelsior
but the Nacelles  are a bit too thin( like them as they are...but thats just me )

The raised structure on the back of this model... looks like it has 3x shuttle bay doors. This would be an excellent F-BCV kitbash. Can anyone add just that structure to an existinmg excelsior design?

I like that design as well,(personally I'd like the narcelles "beefier",thicker) or perhaps Mount another set of narcelles identical to the ones already there, like this.........
