Title: Star Bug from Red Dwarf (reference pics needed)

Just thought you might want to know but ive been asked to retexture a mod of the old star bug from red drawf its only going to take a couple of days to do what with all my other projects but if someone could sort some reference pics for me i would be grateful as i dont have the time
i will try posting some WIP pics if im able to get my site up and running but blue younder (my web provider) dont know their heads from their a........ sorry wrong thread but they say it will be almost a week before they can set up the space so watch this space

I have seasons 1-4 on DVD, so I can get some good screens for ya.  I love that show

Starbug was a very cool design, and about the only thing the yanks didn't ruin when they got ahold of the show, the 'updated' Red Dwarf itself looked hideous, as did the ED-209 style Blue Midget.

BTW, is it Starbug 1 or Starbug 2?

ok even though you dont know anything about red dwarf those pics are perfect i can see 6 angles i need of 10 just at a glance so thanx oh and about that keygen for the shape ive got it nailed ive now got milkshape 1.7.0

ok with those pics i have finished it the mesh its self doesnt look right and the textures themselves are simple and boy are they green its come out rather well those pics did help alot so thank you very much for them
also i will keep you up to date on any updates as i find out from the owner of the ship

well i wouldnt really hold your breath for seeing her ingame the mesh is substandard and its from a first time  modder but i coulndt do any better myself so no offence to the owner it does look good but theres not that much in commom with the star bug we know and love all thats there is the 3 spheres and 4 legs the feet are wrong the saterlite dishes dont exsist the thuster packets are the wrong size but if i were to send it to a more practised modder they could clean her up i will contact the owner seeking permission to refine the design and see what she says

well i have permission off the authour to have a go (or if someone wants to do it) at fleshing out the mesh and making it more cannon and worthy of getting it out to the public so if anyone wants a little project of getting StarBug ready for flight email me on fallen_warrior1@yahoo.co.uk and i will send a copy of the mod file the textures i have made and the read me which you can add your credit too. Any and all, newbies and old timers are welcome to have a go im will be leaving it up to a poll to decide which one gets released
we have a red dwarf floating around why not give it a little starbug so its not so lonely i will be making a more refined version of my textures to put on the the "upgraded" mesh so half the work is done all you need to do is sprose up the mesh and make it worthy

i remember seeing one a long time ago somewhere it was done quite well. cant remember if i had downloaded it or not. i'll look for it, it would be same place as the red drawf i gots somewhere.  u can send to me if u like. i will be sending those others to u soon.
