Title: TMP SFB-Style F-DN (completed)
Post by: FireSoul on June 25, 2004, 08:44:02 pm
Here she is, the ship that I wanted and that I ended up just piecing together myself is complete. This ship is the TMP-era refitted NCC-2101 USS StarLeague. It's the refitted version of this:

This model has the same saucer and upper warp as the FCVA model I recently released. The photon/drone pod as well,.. which is good because drones will be coming out of that selected hardpoint location at the rear of the ship.

.. and here's a part of the breakmod, for those who like to just blow it up:

Please enjoy! She's a direct drop-in replacement for the FDN in OP+ 3.3, btw, so go ahead and plug it in.

Very cool.

Good improvement over the DNG in OP 3.3

(still want fatter saucer. . but I will get over it - but not many TMP era DN's get the shuttle bay in the right place)

Hi Luc
Great work looking forward to seeing what else you dream up.

Thanks so very much for making the game that more interesting.  :notworthy:

Take care and be well

The DNG? This will be replacing the FDN model in the OP+ pack. The DNG will be still there.  (of course, nothing stops you from shuffling things around yourself at your own end.)

Hey Firesoul: Would you consider releasing a model that removes the 3rd warp nacelle and pylon altogether? This strikes me as a great idea for a heavy battlecruiser. Just a thought...

FireSoul i know this is going off topic completely but your sig pic that appears to be one of my good freinds drawing by any chance would you know her or of her her names is KS Claw?

It screencapped that sig pic from my original choice of avatar on GSA. I don't know where it comes from otherwise.

welll.. I don't need a model modified like that, myself..
I've moved on to other OP+ needs..   Perhaps other people may volunteer?

Yes, he did. Well that one in the first post anyway, very nice model but it lacked the rather superb weathering on LS's later models.

He did. I didn't say otherwise.
