Taldren shut it all down.

But Frey is going to be getting it back up soon.   :o

Can someone clue me in please?

I understand Taldren went off the air. I assume, based on the little I've read here that  means all the then ongoing D2 campaigns went kaput. So, who is (will be) running new D2 campaigns and what are the URL's ?

Also, would like to know what's going on with EAW on Gamespy: last couple of nights no one has been in there; did everyone migrate to another SFC site or are they now playing OP ?

thanks. I'm new here and just trying to figure out what's going on. I guess a FAQ somewhere would help those of us who are "clueless".

EAW has gone to a slow death since OP got patched.  Op is now a much better game with more ships and more options.  Taldren is gone.  However, the owners of this site have transfered the forums, and will be getting the directory of servers up soon so both EAW and OP campaigns will still go on.  They will also be posting the patch for all the games and supplying other resourses for the all the SFC series.

So everythings still is supported.  Its just supported by "us" the players now!  ;D

Hehehe . I've gone by Firehawk since the latter days of SFC I but someone here already has my handle. Hope you don't mind a fellow klink sharing such an infamous title.

OP is the prefered platform for D2, and EAW for GSA play, i also noticed low numbers but the other night i logged on and saw 50 in eaw, depends what time you look at.

Not to be pushy (I know everyone's real busy trying to get everything up and running)
But any news on when D2 is back?

I'm getting kinda antsy to try out all my new Klink models online. (SP doesn't seem to work for me)
