Post by: Bonk on June 27, 2004, 09:11:17 am
Just listening to a live version now... damn! I'd forgotten what an excellent tune that is!
 :rwoot: :rwoot: :rwoot:
Just had to share that, I know there's a few Yes fans here... dang, its over, 13  minutes is not enough,
play it again Rick! Gotta hear Roundabout now... nothing like a good Yes fix to lift your spirits!
Sing it Jon!

"Keys to Acension?"   that live album made me a Yes fan.   The live version of Rounabout is so much better that the studio version, actually has life to them.

Going to see them in a Month at the Garden State Arts Center.   Should be cool, last time I saw them was 4 years ago a the beacon theatre in NYC.

When are they playing the Arts Center?! I didn't know they were playing around here this summer.

DieHard, all I have to say to you is:  You bastard!!!  ;D

I've got Close to the Edge going on the big stereo today - just cranked! The entire building is vibrating with Yes goodness. No buzz necessary (but would be nice), without the buzz I want to get up and dance around...  :multi:

Lol, Soreyes has been listening to yes for as long as I've been alive! I admire that.

Playing sometime in August, not sure who the exact line up will be.   When I saw them at the Beacon, they had Alan White and didn't have Rick Wakeman.

The Wakeman "clone" played everything perfect but it wasn't the same.   i love Bruford but White's "translation" of the classic Yes material is brilliant.

Yup Dream Theatre is the opening act.   They have sucked ass since "Falling into Infinity" and I haven't bought or stolen any of their Albums since the "Metroplolis: Part 2" steeming pile of crap.  That is one bunch of arrogant self-indugent sons-of-bitches that could be incredible if they would get their heads out of their asses and write songs and not video-game-music.

Can you tell I'm a prog musician?
