Title: Anybody available to do lighting?
Post by: Klingon Fanatic on June 28, 2004, 11:26:32 am
I have a few models I'd like to get out that need some extra lighting added so they stand out better.

Please contact me here if you can help as I don't have the tools to do this myself.

Hi Alec! I thought you were busy with a gazillion projects and I didn't want to keep bugging you ALL the time, LOL.

I sent you an e-mail with my lighting requests. I forgot to add can you PLEASE also look at the C-7 by Atrahasis and add lighting to the warp engines and the torpedo? I am working on a uniform Klingon Fleet and its really improtant to me to have all the ships I do be able to have the same texture set...

Thanks in advance,

KF

P. S. How's the Doomsday Machine coming along?

Got the email, but of course, links links links 4 me would help for d/l purposes so I could d/l said ships (here and in email) to do the work.  I am busy with a gazillion projects, but usually adding pre-existing lighting takes very little time for me (10-15 or so minutes unless there's 30+ materials), and since I perfected a script for it, doing a SFC 2 conversion to SFC 1 (the reverse) now takes less than 2 minutes no matter the number of materials.  ;)

The SFC 3 version I did is sitting on Nanner's HD, but I think he forgot it's there.  :)

The main difference is the change in hp's for SFC 3, but the new glows, which modestly speaking, turned out well.  I'll see if I still have a pic up for the new glows..

Hmmm, I'll have to post it from the other machine, this one is cratering on me... :p  Been about a week and a half since I rebooted the W95 machine, guess it's time.  :)
