Title: LB5 bug report
Post by: Gook on July 06, 2004, 08:12:54 am
I keep getting L-DCLs as my opponents (I'm flying a Z-DD) I have had them in Patrols and Data recovery. The mission plays out then CTDs at the end. It has happened 5 times now. Is the LDR ship supposed to be there? I am running OP patched to 2552, LB5 installed shiplists etc no model packs.

Unplayable ATM as 75% of missions have this ship in (sometimes as a crippled ship in a patrol [not the enigma patrol either]).

Ship status bar down to 50% some weapons and sytems blacked out when probe fired to scan ship, it moves slowly too.

L-DCL/+  have 28.5 regular crew....

Yup, you cannot have a fraction there.

Will SPECIALing it out on the server-side list prevent it from showing up in missions?

Don't think so...

The server decides available missions per move and then tells the client what mission to activate.  The script then pulls ships from the client's shiplist....  Only a player download fixing or specialing out those ships will work.

I don't think a manual edit will pass a CRC check.   Gonna have to do a download to fix this one  :banghead:

Lets go another 24hrs and see if we find any more bugs.  Then we can always put out a fixed shiplist for everyone to put in their folders.

I'm sure you already know about this but just making sure. Can you get rid of the freighters in the yards, there's usually at least 4 and sometimes a lot more, it's kind of cluttering up the yard.
