I recently downloaded a Karreman Freighter, from Sci-fi Meshes.  I contacted the creator of the model (Rick "Hobbes" Snider) and asked his permission to have a lower poly version of this model made, and he gave me the go ahead.  I don't have the software or the skill to acomplish this, I was wondering if any modelers out there would be interested.  Here is a copy of the e-mail he sent me:

I believe Ace has that particular mesh in the wrong section of the site. 
See, the karemman freighter is NOT my design, its actually canon to Star Trek, so, you wouldn't even need to credit me for making a low poly version

I have a karamman freighter.  I looks fairly accurate.

I would really like to get ahold of that model, I think this is the only "cannon" Dominion ship that I do not have.  Would you be willing to send me that model? (e-mail address is in my profile)

Thanks a lot Dawntreader, recieved the model and tested it.  Looks good in-game, and it completes my collection of Dominion ships.

Excuse the crappy textures, they are merely placeholders so I can get the actual textures mapped properly.

Thanks for the heads up, Desty Nova.  Your "crappy" textures look better than any textures I could make (I'm definitly not an artist).  The mesh looks really clean (real quality work); I would really like to get a hold of that model when you are finished.  Please keep us updated on your progress, and thanks for the great work.

Nice model Desty Nova.  You always make excellent models.  That ship looks good enough to release now.
The Karamma ship I have was made by Kane.  Do you know if he has a website?  I would like to see what else he has made.
